On September 6th, 2023, our third annual town hall event is tentatively scheduled at 6:00 pm at the Oak Park Community Center. Please mark your calendar.
The focus will be on sharing the latest activities of the Oak Park Fire Safe Council in support of wildfire protection and prevention. Discussion topics tentatively include:
- Latest updates from the Ventura County Fire Department on the current fire situation
- Latest regulations that impact the sale and protection of your home
- The importance of Firewise recognition and Oak Park’s approach to achieving it
- Free Home Wildfire Assessments
- Summary of Oak Park Fire Safe Council activities
- Input from residents
This will also be an opportunity for residents to meet their Oak Park Fire Safe Council, and to understand the important work the OPFSC and our partners do for the homeowners and residents of Oak Park, CA.
Tentative Speakers will include representatives from:
- Ventura County Fire Department
- Oak Park Fire Safe Council
- Ventura Regional Fire Safe Council
