The Oak Park Fire Safe Council (OPFSC) was founded in 2021 and operates as a non-profit organization whose primary purpose is to assist with the protection of property and life, from wildfires in Oak Park, California. In coordination with federal, state and local agencies, our projects educate residents on home protection and reduce the risk of wildfires in our open spaces. We are also engaged in projects that focus on the coverage and cost of home insurance for our residents. These efforts are funded with various available government and corporate grants as well as private donations.
